    the Czech way

From the Czech Republic, on this speed bag there appears to be no loop, just a metal piece with a hole in it,,,

Wonder why they went that route? The Czech word for speed bag is "boxerská hruška" which means "boxing pear". Yet another country where they call it a pear. If it looks like a pear, bounces like a Czech, it must be a speed bag.

I think Tim was going to call this site boxerskáhruškaforum.com, but that name was already taken.

That does look nice, and fast.

Everlast did make a model with a simular loop adaptation. The all vinyl 4217.

I wish I could trade it for one of those, the eye in that loop adatation looks a heck of a lot shorter than the 4217, son of a gun!

Very interesting bag. I wonder if their roundness is more exact having more panels like that Lonsdale bag UK and Fingers bought. Why does Europe have have bags and motorcycles that you can't get here? It's just not fair.

Roc Stone, can you not shorten that loop on the Everlast bag?

That's the infamous Plastron bag that replaced the 4216 in platform sets back in the late 1970's-early 80's. As I recall the "loop is actually an eyebolt with a jam nut at the base to keep it from backing off. It would be possible to replace it with one that has a shorter thread. BTW this is essentially the same bag that Everlast sells as a novelty item with a suction cup base now (that doesn't work).

                    Haha, yeah.

I translated the description with Google Translate:

Boxing pears in our design ensures long life with minimal maintenance and, combined with our odrážecími construction and perfect conditions for training ...

Punch pear develops rhythm, speed and observation. Late material is a technical skin, which are not fully adequate to the requirements of life.

Doesn't indicate how big it is though, it looks huge.

Does this mean you will die if you use it? haha, I'm hillarious.

Die laughing, maybe. Google translation is forever in beta.

On the Kaze site there is an English version of the page, and it says:

"The boxing pears guarantee in our version long-lasting durability requesting minimal care and combined with our rebound-constructions perfect training conditions as well ..."

"The boxing pear allows you to develop rhythm, speed and attention. The surface is made of technical leather, a material totally able to meet your requirements on durability."

By "technical leather", wonder if they mean synthetic?
