    cleto

Hi all! ive just taken my Cleto bag out of hibernation! i have been using my everlast 5x8 consistently for 3 months, and i find now that the cleto bag seems to work much better when used really fast!! has any other cleto fan found the need for speed or is it just me?

    another Cleto Fan

I'm hearin ya Fingers..I've been on a 5x8/4x6 binge over the past couple of months myself. I've had my Reyes 5x8 for quite a while and just recently acquired an Everlast 4x6 and a Ringside 5x8. As Rigal mentioned in an earlier post the Everlast 4x6 is actually larger than the Ringside 5x8. Both are VERY nice bags but I still have to say that that Reyes is hard to beat ( pardon the pun ) for speed, response and feel. I also have a number of 6x9s' and for me the Reyes is the best of the lot. Don't get me wrong because I love all of them and switch around constantly.

Thanks to all who post here for adding to my already over the top enthusiasm

Hay Dogtoke how you doing my friend!! i also recently bought a Everlast 6x4! nice bag but cost me an arm and a leg with the import and delivery charges we cant get them in the UK. Did you get your new U bolt swivel ? how do you find it with the hard long loop of the Cleto Reyes bag? i find the soft leather better on my hands in the winter Its below freezing in my garage!! i often come out with bleeding knuckles from the Everlast bags! i think its the plastic label underneath gets really hard in the freezing cold! i guess its all the miss hits well at least i can say i bleed for my sport!! take it easy mate. Fingers.

I get my Cleto Reyes in a few weeks. I'll be happy as hell to give you a report then.

Nice one Roc!! you wont be disappointed the cleto bags seem to come out smaller than most, probably the softest leather of all my bags the only slight negative is they have a long hard loop i guess it will just depend what swivel you use it on, but above all it is a top quality very fast bag...enjoy!! there are some pictures of my limited edition Cleto in my album on my profile page if you are interested. Ya I got the need for speed. I had a cleto and no bag has yet matched it in my opinion. ppl say the ringside and the top contender r pretty fast aswell though. has anyone hit all 3 ? im ordering one in a fewdays. it would b good if somone set up all 3 and showed how fast all 3 go to compare.

Well, you know I have one, the 8x5 and it's super fast on the metal ball hook! It's kind of an adrenaline rush, keeping up with it.

Expensive but, I would definitely buy another if anything was to happen to it.
