had one growing up in the basement and used to hit it all the time. 20 years later i decided to put one up in my basement. i have been baggin for the last 2 months and have made major progress. already wore out 1 bag (cheap quality though). i got a lower ceiling height so i made my own setup which turned out great. 1 1/2 inch thick drum. routed the edges. so sturdy i can do chin ups with it...lol. started checkin out some youtube vids and got the addiction. now its all i think about and i hit it until my hands are in severe pain! i got a long way to go....but i will get there 1 punch at a time! baggin on a promex 8x5 ubolt and chainlink (like the ubolt better). got a few other bags but this is my favorite so far.

tried it on and off since i was fifteen. when i started thai boxing and boxing.. never got really good at it till a few years ago then my wife got me a speed bag set up. I've been doing pretty good but having trouble getting my rythm down to do the really advanced stuff like backwards, elbows, and single back and forth. but now hopefully i can get a whole lot better with the help of you guys. ohh and i noticed a huge improvement when i watch a few of alan kahns vids. great site....Comment

i been hitting the bag on and off for about 17 years. I started when i was about 8 when i found a bag at my uncles garage and learned the fist roll and 1,2,3. then a little while later i got a speed bag setup at my house. after checking all of you guys on youtube and learning new tricks and styles i got back into it.Comment
