    Favorete/best size bag?

Totally unscientific opinion, mine, from my readings and watching videos I see a bias towards smaller bags away from larger bags. In your opinion what is the BEST size bag?

How about your favorite bag size? why/

What percentage of you time on the bag is spent with your favorite size bag?

Do you rotate size of the bag you use? What sizes do you rotate through?

    Thanks.

I like big bags, and I have a fair number of them from a variety of makers. Most of them are no longer in business, or no longer make larger "striking bags" as they are often referred to. Right now I'm using a medium sized Roni bag. It has enough heft to give me some resistance and fast enough to satisfy my. I have a very large Reach bag (my avatar photo) that is actually quite light, and offers little resistance. It's probably my oldest bag, (it was one of the lucky eBay finds) it was in like new condition when I got it, other than the fact that it was missing a bladder. I am using a Title Quik Tek double end bag bladder in it, it works quite well. I put it on the swivel every once in a while. I have a number of Everlast bags of varying sizes and ages, from the smallest (4210) up to what was the largest in the post WWII era the 4205 and 4207. I have bags made by TufWear, Hutch, Spalding, J.C.Higgens, Winwell, and several minor makers, some of which are on the verge of display only.

I prefer a 6" x 9" bag. For me it's a pleasant blend of target size and speed. Plus, it is very flexible in adjusting this bags rebound speed to accommodate different tempos when punch drumming.

Bag size is a personal thing and you choose the bag that matches your style of hitting, But don't pass up other sizes of bags, Most bible baggers prefer the 6x9 size and i feel if you just hit on one size of bag, Than your missing out and don't know or have the experience of hitting on bigger sizes of bags, i hit on all sizes and probably enjoy the bigger size bags more than the smaller size, Why you say, Well it's because i get to really whale on them, The bigger size Roni bags really move and are very responsive, Just pure Fun !
