Speed Bag Gathering 2025 - We are looking for a NEW location!

Hi all - The Speed Bag Gathering 2024 was a huge success! But it was a farewell to Real Gymm in Keyport, NJ. The gym is closing its doors next month. The rack and all the platforms have been stored offsite until we figure out next year's location. If you have any leads, please let me know. (We already have 3 locations on the short list). The rough requirements are:

We need:

• An indoor (ideally air-conditioned) location with at least 900 square feet of floor space (for the rack)
• Ideally the location would have multiple speed bags already. Ideally we have 8 to 12 speed bag platforms.
• Can support an event of 50-75 attendees (bathrooms, seating and tables, parking, trash, areas for 'breaks', etc.)
• This event is LOUD. It will not work in any location holding fitness classes or with picky neighbors.
• Ideal hours are three full days 7am - midnight. Probably in July 2025.
• Within 1 hour of a major airport. Ideally has amenities in walking distance like hotel, food, convenience stores.
• Must be available at absolute minimal cost. This is not a money making, for profit event.
• Can be anywhere in the continental US.

2024 was an amazing event. Great attendance, awesome people and Bagging skills unequaled. Lots of amazing Punch Drumming. I'm sorry to see Real Gymm close.... but it had to end at some point. From 2010 to 2024. The end of that era... and time for a new era to begin. I'm sure it will happen again. Somewhere.
