    Skunk's Custom Swivel

What exactly is the swivel housing for this set-up? Is it the everlast ez pro swivel housing with the plastic ball hook swivel? Is this faster than the regular plastic swivel in the plastic housing?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dax

I did try this but found that the plasstic ball itself was to large when I tried to screw it home.

The plastic ball fitted into the bottom piece ok but when I connected it to the base I couldn't screw it up all the way and still had about a 5mm gap of thread to wind. Turning it any further locked up the ball to the drum.

I used the housing from the everlast chainlink swivel. Was that what you used?

        yes!!!

what u have to do is use an everlast chain link swivel housing. and make where ur screws are going to go then drill out a center spot so that the ball can move freely when u fasten the houseing unit to the platform!!

            SpeedBagSkunk,

did You build another custom swivel with both parts from Everlast?

In this thread You say you used a Title chain link swivel housing.

Would be great to hear that it works with the Everlast chain link swivel housing too as a have those two Everlast swivels and would give it a try.

I cannot get an Everlast plastic Ball to fit low enough into the Everlast metal housing and base plate. The ball is too high and comes up above the top of the base plate and the ball has no room to turn. In fact, the swivel cannot be mounted evenly on the board without a spacer inserted between the swivel base and board.

the picture below shows how this looks.
