    I can't tell whether it is a machined one or a cast one. The wrapping obscures the view of the base. If it's a machined one it would be a great deal for someone. I'm puzzled why it would cost over $24 to ship it.

      The style of packaging suggests that this is from mid to late 1980's, perhaps up into the early 1990's. The blister pack was used for large retailers, as opposed to the swivels that were packaged in small cardboard boxes, they tended to be sold through the smaller independent sporting goods stores. More than likely this is a domestically machined one, as a opposed to the ones that were produced overseas.

        I noticed that in the last day of the auction the seller reduced the shipping price. That may have enticed a few people to bid.
