I love the look of this type of platform. Not the best to hit on but they really add to the character of a man-cave. I just got mine hung up yesterday. I put a light bag on it and hit it around some. I know now how the term "drum" came to be associated with the platform. It does reverberate with a "drum" type sound hitting on it.
