Hutch bag and platform, vintage 1971 ?????

Does the 1971 vintage sound right for the platform, or was it NOS back then Is that then a Hutch swivel ?

I'm not absolutely positive, but I believe that Hutchison Brothers Leather Co. was out of the sporting goods business by this time, if not out of business all together. The rebound ring and swivel are really old school, a style that was common dating back at least to the post WWII era, if not a little before.
