    Here's my set-up

Hope I did this right I uploaded a pic using the attachment button. Here is my setup it's a title platform with title pro swivel and I have a title 7 X 10 and a Tuf-Wear 6 X 9 bags. I got about 40 pounds of sand on top between my home made medicine ball and whats left in the sack. Seems to work well

Semper Fi Devil Dog, always great to meet another Marine. My daughter was home from college this past weekend and she shot some video on her cell phone, as soon as we figure out how to get it on the computer I'll post them here.

        Toolboxdiver,

That looks like a pretty good platform. How would you rate the wood? Is it pretty solid? Also, that board looks to be about an inch thick. How thick is it? I have the everlast deluxe nonadjustable platform, and the board is pretty low quality. I was expecting more from a "deluxe" platform. Also, is that title 10 x 7 a lightweight bag? How does it compare to the tuf-wear 9 x 6 in terms of heaviness? I have a tuf-wear 10 x 7 and it is great. But I would like to have a lighter weight larger bag.

Wow and 10 bucks cheaper than what I paid for the everlast "deluxe" platform. I get good results from the everlast platform with a sand bag on top, but it would be nice to have a solid, good quality board. Maybe if I punch hard enough, I can crack the everlast board and then have a legitimate excuse for ordering a new platform.

Looks like you have it secured well to the wall, so I'm curious, since most of the vibration is from the bag hitting the platform away from the wall where there is no support, try seeing how much less vibration you can get by taking the basketball off and moving the sand bag in that area.

I wonder: If the basketball on top WAS actually an air filled basketball, if it would bounce slightly up and down, adding a little "back beat" to the rebound.

If it was secured some way that it didn't fall off, it might be a cool effect.
...then again it might be annoying.

Nice set up by the way.
