Practice 2012-03-11 Elbows, traps, and slaps.

    It's the platform, not me.
I hope it makes you smile.
It's the best I can do right now. Practice and have fun.
Kudos to you who can present a clean take, or just take the time and energy to post. The cameras are a distraction to overcome.
Enjoy - you might as well - you're not getting the 4 minutes back.

Nice Job Punchdrummer! Looks like a solid platform, what is that?

Very nice platform and your starting to get that hang of that phantom punch to OUT & IN Four way Elbow strike. Looking good!

          Thanks for the nice feedback!

Ralph - the bag is an EverLast "Kangaroo" – small. It measures 8.75 from top of loop to bottom, 7.75 from neck to bottom, 5.00 on one side and 5.25 on the other (it’s not round).
Very bouncy and demanding. I figure if I can do it on that….

The platform is a 3/4 pine table-top round from Home Depot and some 4*4 supporting it. It squeezes the rectangular pillar it's mounted on - no bolts in the wall or weights on top of the drum. Cost less than $40 - (if I did it right the first time). I'll post some pics eventually. There is a triangle (45 degree brace attached to a 90 degree brace), which is strapped to the pillar about a foot above the platform. The pillar must be made from 2*2 - I could barely detect anything with the stud finder, yet there's minimal vibration in the platform or the wall. The house is probably going to fall down around it eventually, but that's a price I'm willing to pay.

I need to make my sarcasm a little more obvious – re: height of the platform. (“Teacher – it’s the pencil, not my spelling skills.”) lol

Thanks again everybody for the encouragement.
