Got one of my new Evelast bags the other day and finally got a chance to give it a go. The black and yellow 4x6 was shipped Wed. so I should get it Tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday. I'm quite rusty but here ya go! Enjoy!

Also, I finally organized the spot a little better, here's some photos:
I haven't been much for weights lately, but I got the bench for $2.00 at a garage sale. Even Nina(my wife) was gonna kick my crapper if I let it slip by!

Hey Metaldad, what's up brother? Looks like your diggin' the new bag! Lookin' good under the platform, great control on the 360 fist roll! Wait till you hit that 6x4 everlast, it's one fast little MOFO! Takes a little getting used to after hittin' the bigger bags. Does'nt take as much muscle to move, just have to move faster (smaller sweet spot too). Also looks like youv'e got all the tools you need (weights, racks etc.) to keep you busy. Let me know how the 6x4 works out. Post a vid. As soon as I get the time and figure out how to post one, I will. Take care. Tj

Thanks TJ! I've been off for a awhile due to work schedule and injury, but the bag definitely feels great. The 6x4 is enroute. should get it any day. Yeah, I do have alot of weights, but I've really been trying to get more into body weight exercises, especially pullups, hence he ropes on my pullup bars and the bar across the dip bars.

Good luck trying to find a 4204. Everlast does not make those bags anymore. I checked ebay everyday for over a year until I finally found a 4204.
Anyone who likes the 4200 would love the 4204.

The bag is a 6x9. I wasn't gonna buy the bench, but my wife convinced me which is surprising cuz she's the first one on me about spending.........Shocked the hell out of me when she told me she got a set of golf clubs for me!

Somewhere, deep in my speed bag graveyard, I should have a 4204 that developed a fatal bladder problem. It died, ( 'bout 1996-98 time period) and I don't think I tossed it, because it was a sweetheart bag and I couldn't find a bladder at the time. Since I hate changing bladders and normally have no shortage of bags, I went on to others (starting hitting a lot Ringside bags then, due to their support for my book and video's) and the 4204 sort of disappeared. I need to comb through my attic, yard buildings, closets, garage and everywhere else I have dead or past speed bag storage and see if I can find it.

Thanks Rattler! Sometimes when I'm passing my fists through the bag, I'll hit the wall. Now that I got the new bags, I'm gettin' out there alot more!

BTW,I swtiched the metal ball in my swivel with a plastic one..the problem is the little plastic shavings from the friction, what do guys do for this? short of wearing safety goggles that is!

HA! then all she needs to get is a nine iron. Apparently that is the club of choice for keeping a Golfer in check.

The problem is probably the metal housing "shaving" the plastic ball as it turns. If you have a plastic ball, I bet you have a plastic housing that it originally came in. Change the metal base attachment with the plastic one and your plastic ball will probably not leak little shavings. Better yet, put the metal ball inside the plastic housing and get a much better swivel (my opinion only..)

Good deal on the bench. I bought a bench, 7' olympic bar and 400+ lbs of weight for $85 about 3 years ago at a yard sale
