Good to see you posting up vids on the site. You're doing really well. Of course, you have one of the best as an instructor.

My only suggestion would be to lower the bag, or stand on some type of platform so you're not punching "up."

Great job SpeedBagMissy! While having the bag higher that normal is probably a more intense workout on your shoulders, tri's and back, it makes advanced punching more difficult. If you lower the bag, it seems like you will be able to progress quicker as you already have good technique and nice, even skills.
I can bag for long periods of time and not get tired or fatigued. But that is because I mainly work on new technique and rhythm. It is a different story if I bag for power, speed and endurance on a bigger bag. That's where I think the workout comes in to play. Or Alan Kahn style, where he keeps his punch drumming up at a fast pace.
        anyhow...great stuff..BAG ON!

How could I forget one of the prettiest speed baggers out there?

That could get me in trouble! No! Sam ain't the jealous type but, my daughter would kill me!

Krissy, as you know, I have watched your progress from day 1 and you have come along fine. I know you have the Skunk to thank for that, he's been an outstanding mentor for you, me and many others.
Joining this forum will boost your skills even more.

            Welcome!

It's always a Joy to see more woman learning the speed bag. You're making great progress! Wouldn't it be great to get you, MsDeville, Staylo Reile and the Hawaiian bunch (George Kam at YMCA) and a few others together at the Speed Bag 2010 convention.

Looks like you've got some serious talent, I'd have to agree with everyone tho when they say you might want to try lowering the platform, you'll probably find you're even better....keep up the good work.

Great video. Skunk is a great guy - not only is he fantastic on the speed bag but he inspires and helps so many people. A class act all the way. A lot of fun to hang with as well.
