Some elbows on the Melon Ball

Tim, those are some serious elbows! I don't remember you doing those when we were at your house. At the end, it looks like you have some combos with double elbows, (RR and LL).
The 4 way E,F,F,E one way and then reversed and then a double elbow is great!
I too have been working on this stuff more after handing with you and the SKunk!
Great job!
BAG ON!

Wow, Tim. Double bumping that inward elbow -to- outward elbow about 1:05 is really nice! I'm seeing a great improvement in your punching. You look a lot more comfortable and maintain solid arm positions. great work!Speed Bag

Thank you AK! Double bumping is what I should have written. I still need to get my terminology under control!Originally posted by Speedbag View PostWow, Tim. But more importantly, what are you doing up in TX at this hour!
Look forward to seeing you soon!

Haha, yeah, when the heat is on I usually revert back to what I can do well. I threw a few of those but not many. Skunk nailed it on the head when he said I was trying to hit too fast (Alan tells me that a lot too)... I need to slow it down and not try to match their speed, it feels like such a let down though after he's hitting like crazy , then I step up to the bag going about 1/2 or 1/3rd as fast ... oh well, more reason to keep practicing. Every time I see Skunk (and Alan and yourself) it inspires me to try harder.Originally posted by spinsmashpop View PostTim, those are some serious elbows! Thanks! My sentiments exactly. I was soaking in all of Skunk's moves and that inspired me to try and step up my game with some more elbow strikes. I've been working on some of that stuff off and on for a few weeks, figured it was ready for the light of day (It takes me an extraordinary amount of time to learn new moves...I'm NOT a fast learner). At the end, it looks like you have some combos with double elbows, (RR and LL).

Thanks, I've been working on that for awhile. The melon ball is the ideal bag for elbow double bumps because it rebounds so energetically, it's just a lot easier than on a normal bag. I do find that I can elbow double bump a regular bag now as well, so there is definitely some carry over.Originally posted by Speedbag View PostWow, Tim. I think TIm and I will both agree that while we have some skills on the bag, when Skunk starts punching, he really steals the show....Originally posted by Biff View PostHot damn, Tim, you have stepped it up a notch. Nice going. That visit by BT and Skunk must have really inspired you.
But I do think that all 3 of us together was nothin' but inspirational... baggers dig baggin', and baggers dig learnin' from other baggers....it's that simple..

thanks for sharing. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. In all honesty I had shot that video and thought it wasn't useable but went back and found 2 small, good sections out of much footage.Originally posted by The Baggist View PostAwesome advanced combos Tim!!!!
And that is one unique bag. I have a couple of bags also that i will mourn for when there gone.
Just wait until we get Alan, Skunk, and a whole bunch of other talented baggers in one spot...Originally posted by spinsmashpop View PostI think TIm and I will both agree that while we have some skills on the bag, when Skunk starts punching, he really steals the show....
