    Posting pictures from an iPad

    Hello,
I'm unsure if it's possible or not to post pictures from your iPad camera roll or not. I tried but the area was greyed out. If anyone was any information regarding this matter it would be highly valued. Thanks!

Yes, it is possible. It just takes a minute. Here's one from my iPad's camera roll.

Notice this is an attached image. To do this in your post, click the paper clip icon in menu bar. Then click "choose file." You can choose between "take picture" or "use existing." Assuming your picture was already taken and is in your camera roll, choose "existing", then "camera roll", and choose the picture you want.

Next click "Upload". In a few seconds your photo will upload. Then click "close this window."

Preview your post and make sure the pic is correct (not upside down or rotated). Once you're happy, submit your post.

The problem is that when you click the paper clip, it takes you to the page where you are suppose to be able to click choose file, but you can't, because it's grayed out on the iPad.

You uploaded that picture from a computer right? It may have been on your iPad, but did you upload it to your computer after, then, upload it to speedbag forum? In addition, which model iPad did you use?

The pic was on my iPad, not computer. Maybe your iOS is older and doesn't support this feature.

I have an iPad 2 with iOS 6.0.1 and uploading pix works fine.

        What is your iPad's iOS?

Ok, here was the problem. Apple just addressed it with iOS 6, here take a look.

                Safari
                Safari goes full screen
Mobile Safari now allows you to browse in a full-screen mode, in landscape orientation, on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

                Upload photos in Safari
The inability to upload a photo while browsing the Internet has been annoying iOS users for years. Thankfully, Apple finally addressed it in iOS 6. You can now upload photos from your Camera Roll and Photo Stream directly to Web sites in just a few taps.

Ok, problem solved, I have to go upgrade I'll be back

SMK, be sure that you back up your iPad before upgrading. Connect it it your computer first, have iTunes back it up, then do your upgrade.

I've read horror stories about people losing info when upgrading their iOS.

Never happened to me, but better safe than sorry. Good luck and let s know how it turns out.
