    Tractor Tire

Anybody on here know where I can get a tractor tire in Georgia? I have a few people around here looking for some used ones, but I don't have anything solid yet. If anybody has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Tractor Equipment & Parts (wholesale), Atlanta Georgia

Flee markets, Junk yards. Maybe "old farmers" or Farm Auctions in Georgia They are usually advertised in the paper.

For working out. Flipping the tire as many times as you can, hitting it with a sledge hammer, etc. There are videos all over you tube.

Alright! Are you training in Syberia! Just kidding! Yes, I have seen some of that kind of workout footage. I guess it just slipped my mind being on the speed bag forum. I started trying to envision what crazy stuff involving tractor tires and speed bags is going on these days! I mean, I understand the speed bag/drum correlation, but couldn't put the tractor tire/speed bag thing together!
Cool though! Punch it, bag it, throw it, and sledge it up!
So what exactly is sledge? I guess a sledgehammer was initially named as a type of hammer that either; sledges, hammers sledge, or turns things hammered into sledge!

                  Tire Flippin' on RossTraining.com

It's a big topic and activity on Rosstraining. Especially for the "Gymless" crowd. Having spent some time "down on the farm", handling Big tractor tires, I can tell you it's a serious workout moving or flipping them.

                      Alan,
Found a guy pretty close to my house. He told me to come out to his junkyard and I can take any tires I want. Hopefully he has what I need.
                      Thanks again,
                      Dax

I'd love to flip tires, but my wife would not stand for it (I live in the 'burbs, neighbors would probably complain too)

                        Oh well, maybe someday.

Yeah I live in the burbs too. I like it when people think what the hell is that kid doing now. We flip it in the road and up my drive way(it's a hill). I will post some video or pics sometime. Still trying to figure out the weight of the tires I got.
