Honestly, I think a better solution is to play Mp3s with another program like WinAmp, windows media player, or itunes in the background while the timer web page is running. This is assuming you're running it on a PC and not an iphone or other smartphone or something.
It would be hard to provide a variety of MP3s - the way javascript works on your local computer is that it can't dynamically look at the available files. Any MP3s it would play would have to be named in a very specific way. I think it would be enough work to set it up that most people wouldn't use it in that way.
