    Hey tim i was just wondering if you could use the timer on a laptop running windows 98. the timer works fine but the sound doesnt work. ive tryd to put quicktime on it but cant find a copy that will work on it. thanks tim

    Ooh, that's a tough one. Does it have any version of Windows Media Player installed on it?

    That's your best bet. Which version of Internet Explorer is on there?

    It's not easy for me to test that configuration as getting software that old is problematic...

      hey tim ive formated the hard drive and put xp on it so im fine now runs slow but the timer is the only thing im using it for thanks for your quick response.
