    Stopping when you're really whopping

When practicing a particularly hard combination I've gotten it into my mind that I hate to stop if I'm not doing well. I like to stop when I've really nailed it at least a few times. I'm thinking that my mind and body will remember where I left off, whether I was doing good or bad. Besides I just hate to quit if I haven't made some progress. Does anyone else do that? I'm still working on that 4 way IO elbow without the triplet rebound and it's still a challenge. Sometimes I have sessions that are better than others, but even in an off session I still hate to quit if I haven't nailed it just right for a few rotations left to right. It may be more a mental thing than an actual physical thing, but hey, isn't that half the game. When I start another practice session my mind is on my last practice when I was finishing on a high note rather than on a low one.

Exactly, so you don't quit until your hitting it again then right? You unwind some and come back and then pick it up again before you call it a finished workout.
