Solid Speed Bag Platform in UK

    Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone knows of a solid speedbag platform available for me to buy in the UK? Something like the Balazs i-Box platform.

For me to get one of these to be delivered from the US would double the price.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    John.

There is a adjustable Reebok platform on e-bay UK looks very solid !!! Maybe you can get it cheap . That thing costs about 700 € here in germany .

      Thanks for that.

It looks like a good platform but it is collection only and I live quite a way from where it is.

I'll keep my eye on it though in case any thing changes

          Thanks for your reply Fingers.

I have the everlast adjustable at the moment and I find that there's too much vibration even with a 25kg sand bag on top. It just seems a bit weak to me. When you put the sand bag on the board it goes off level and you need to really crank up the adjuster knobs to get it right again.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong with it

The Balazs ibox just seems so much more solid. In fact, there are a few platforms that I would like but they're all in the US . The shipping costs would double the price of the platforms and that doesn't even take into account the customs fees to be added when it gets here.

My other option would be to double up my existing board with a 600mm diameter piece of wood. Does anyone know if that would help or would it not work?

          Thanks for your help
