Fast Rubber bladder fix.

The bladder in my Title Platinum XS bag went flat. I deflated tha completely,then pealed tha leather off tha bladder. took tha bladder out completely.filled sink with water, air up bladder, submerged it in tha water and located 2 leaks. You may half to squeeze tha bladder a lil to find tha leak. Then mark tha leaks, dry tha bladder, and take super glue, I used regular but tha gel may work better,and super glue around tha leak about tha size of a dime should cover good. Let it dry then put another layer on. It dries pretty fast . Then inflate tha bladder and let it sit for bout 30 min. if there arent any leaks then deflate and put it back in tha bag. Mine has lasted for about 3 weeks so far. Its still holding good.

I just use a bicycle patch kit (99 cents) to repair leaks on bladders, if that won't fix it then I just buy a new bladder

I just repaired a bladder from a 1930's Everlast bag. I transplanted a new fill valve and attempted a seam patch job. It's been in a clamp for 48 hrs, going to try and pressure test it tonight. If it works I'll post pics and show what I used. Wish me luck! The bag is wicked old and looks cool, but is gigantic and slow! Lotta fun tho!

Got it repaired! If all else fails, try an industrial cement called "PLIOBOND". I picked it up at ACE hardware along with some thick rubber patches. Wear rubber gloves when you use it!! I applied a few layers of the cement, let it dry, folded the patch over the seam and I vice clamped it between 2 peices of wood for 48 hrs. It holds well. I let the presssure out of the bag when I don't use it, refill when I want to hit.

Good suggestion about deflating bags after use. I have an xs ringside RPSB-XS thats slowly deflating.. think I am going to have to try and patch it. I tried looking up the part number thats on the bag for the bladder but no luck. Anyone know where I can get a replacement bladder if I need one?? part number is #LSBB-S. Thanks

ya Ralph told me to checkout the ringside site.. I typed the whole part number and didn't turn up anything the first time I checked. Just searched for bladder.. The size is in a drop down tab. whoa $53 for shipping a $5 bladder to Canada. Crazyness

I've read up on Slime on their web site. If I recall properly in tires it stays liquid and relys on the tire rolling. Check out their site befor trying it.

I had thought of using SLIME on my 1930's spped bag bladder that was leaking. Instead I opted for a BFP (big freaking patch). It may be an option later.

I used SLIME on a flat tire once. Guys who work at tire places HATE Slime... supposedly it goes in as a liquid and then you drive the car and it spins and covers the entire inside of the tire and hardens, but it goes everywhere. The guys who change your tires have to chip off all this hardened gunk from your metal wheel. I guess it throws the balance of your wheel/tire completely off.. so applying this to our situation, if you can get the SLIME to go through a regular filling needle, inject it, and inflate your bladder. All you'd have to do is keep turning/rotating the bladder so you get an even coverage on the interior without any pooling, or you'll throw out the balance of your bag. I'm not sure on the drying time of the SLIME, but you might be stuck for an hour or so rotating your bladder?? I still might try it, as the bladder in my 1930's bag is bound to leak again... Let me know if anyone goes first!
