Thanks for the help. I've noticed an Everlast Medium Leather Speed Bag at various stores but the word ' Elite ' was not part of the model description.

Does the word 'Elite' have to appear in the wording for it to be an elite model and, if so, what might you know about the bag being advertised as " Everlast Medium Leather Speed Bag'?

The training level will be on the packaging and not so much the product itself. It doesn't really stand for much but a cool marketing thing. Like Piefurz had above somewhere there will be "Te: M" or 'Ta: M" which is a clever way of saying Train elite size medium and Train advanced size medium. It's not actually spelled out the clear for you.

This is what mine look like, sorry for the bad pics but you can see where the package says medium. The part that is glared out says T|TRAIN. These are carried in several local stores around here. I would think that if you don't see a product that looks like this that it isn't the ELITE. It may still be a medium. If you see a Ta:M, that is an ADVANCED EVERHIDE, Medium. On this package it says LIGHTWEIGHT EVERHIDE VINYL. It is dark gray in color with a pattern of about 1/8" squares all over. The pic of mine has a hole in it. It leaked the first time of use so I over inflated a little to get a longer workout and it ripped. I don't recommend The Ta:M or Ta:L as the bladders are vulcanized rubber and develop leaking cracks. If you get a Te:M I suggest you get a medium bladder from a good source cuz you'll probably need it. Considering the sales on line I recommend getting a better quality pro bag for probably the same or less.

How long did it take for you to blow the seam out of the bag on the right?

How long did it take for you to blow the seam out of the bag on the right?

Maybe 3 hours with some pretty hard punching. It was leaking slowly so I had to keep topping it off and over filled it some so it would go longer. Must have been a bad herd of everhide cows that it came from. I have a Ta:L that is holding up better now that I have patched the bladder a couple times. Although it naturally looses more air over a couple days than my Title PRO MEX and the Te:M that I have re-bladdered with a Title medium.
