    Hello,
    I have everything mounted.
It's probably overkill, but my conscience is clean.

I hung sound absorbing sheets.. and used mass loaded vinyl between the 2x4s and the drywall. The sheets are more for me, standing in the corner..

I had it all hanging before the sheets came in (2 weeks now), so I can notice the difference.
At first it felt like I was not hitting as hard, but it was the reduced sound..

Overall, not a huge impact.. not 100% sure I would do it again.

Guests say that in the next room it is not very loud, so I feel confident it isn't bothering the neighbors yet.

Bonus: I received the Bible today..

    Happy Holidays, All.
    -Ryan
