    Links Everlast Durahide Speed Bag

What is the feedback from this Everlast speed bag? Is it a fast bag because of the light weight cover? Similiar to the Atomic bags from Title.

I've gone through a ton of these bags. They are cheap and bounce pretty quick. However, depending on how much baggin yer doin the bag probably won't last very long. I bag very heavily and I've never had one of these last more than a month. Nice while it lasted though!

I am breaking myself in on this bag now. Not having much experience, I can't judge it against many other bags. That said, it seems fairly fast and has a decent rebound. I only can get in about 30 minutes a day, so I am not seeing any wear on the bag over the last three weeks yet. Now my bare hands are another story !

just ordered the Atomic from Title (what a great deal !) so I am sure my frustration level will increase even more went that arrives!

Out of curiosity , what is it that breaks? Is it the bladder, the seams, or the panels?

Your hands will toughen up over time... i never wear gloves or wraps and sometimes bag 2 or 3 hours in a day.

Compared to this one, the Atomic will very, very different - like punching air. But by no means impossible to hit Challenge is good, will make you a better bagger.

The Atomic is very light mostly due to it's size, it's quite small , the XS is 7x5 dimensions, where as this bag is 10x7 I think. The XXS is 6x4. The material is a factor of course, but there is probably 1/2 as much material involved with a 7x5 bag compared to a 10x7 (I'm guessing, I don't know that for a scientific fact).

That looks like my Ta:L but maybe the Ta:M since it is medium. My L is rounder in the belly like the picture. My problem with these is leaking bladders. They are vulcanized rubber like an inner tube. They get little hairline cracks. They M leaked after the first couple of uses so I put a little extra air to last longer and it tore after some rigorous punching. The L is holding up now after several patches but I'm not using it that much now. Can't compair them to other bags but wouldn't recommend them.

Everhide is just artificial leather, all of the examples of which I've delt with have been utter failures in various applications they were intended to replace the real stuff.

I bought that bag at Dicks when i first started. SLOW SLOW SLOW and CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Maybe someone else had more better luck with it than i did, but i took it back immediately. I even got the small in that style thinking it would be quicker....NOT...Slower. Save your bones.
