    custom metal ball hook swivels

here's the swivel housings i have been working my guts out on...so far they are turning out really nice! These are machined from solid steel and not cast iron. Next i gotta make the balls and hooks. So stay tuned!

Looks really cool. You have got a nice workshop, with all kinds of heavy machinery. You must be a machinist?

Lookin' good! Thanks for a peek at the work shop. So is the one hanging on the platform using an everlast ball/hook? Because you mentioned you haven't yet made the ball part...

no i used to be a machinist. railroader now. i just do this kinda work as a hobby. tim...good eye. thats the hook from the plastic swivels. i still need to countersink the mounting holes, then start machining the balls. my hooks may be a little different style when all is done.

Yes, it all looks amazing! Very impressive work and good luck with the rest of the project. I have never tried an all metal swivel, I'm sure you'll have plenty of customers if you decide to sell any in the future.

Beautiful workmanship, Jumpcannon. Very impressive. Sign me up if and when you start selling them. I have been itching to try a ball-hook swivel.

I figured you already hand a long list of customers from the forum regulars but if that’s not the case, please put me on your list as well!
