She's already aware of how 'advanced' the iBox is, since I only lowered it to her height 1 time for about 10 min, then it was "ok, you're done, my turn, let the master blast away...". I haven't heard the end of it...

Hey - awesome posts on the beach baggin' - do you surf? You should add in a vid of you catching a wave to shore, walking up to the bags on the beach and wailing away, then jump back in and catch another wave! Like a mini-triathlon. I wish they had bags on the beach down here in San Diego, I'd be all over that!
Ya, double baggin' is fun, you got pics of your I-box? I just posted a clip of my girl baggin' - you can show your girl to get her motivated.

I haven't yet taken up surfing, but I would like to, that would be an awesome video. It's funny you mention the mini-triathlon as I do plan to race in the Camp Pendleton triathlon this year. You into that kind of thing?

Hit me up if you ever come up to LA, we can do a meet and greet on the beach...

That's interesting, how long did you train for the Camp Pendleton mini-triathlon? What kind of training? I'm actually interested in it, probably need to start training... I have speed bags+weights+elliptical at home, and my work has gyms and 1/2 Olympic pool, so there is absolutely NO excuse for me not to!

Hell yea, next time I come up let's grab some lunch at one of those places on the beach! Haven't been to Venice in years! I really dug Newport Beach the last time I was up there a a few years ago...

Interesting - in the vid of your girl hitting, there is someone in the background hittin' a bag - is it fairly common for folks to hit at the beach?

You should seriously take up surfing (your girl will dig it also), it's some serious fun, and with all the baggin' you do, you won't have the issue that most people have: "Man, my arms are sore from paddling!" That's my main point for hitting - to keep my arms in shape for surfing and motorcross... The fun thing about surfing is that on your vacation, you go to all these nice tropical places and chill out with the waves - I just got back from Costa Rica a few weeks ago, very warm water and very beautiful place!

The Camp Pendleton is a full Olympic length triathlon, and it will be my first event. Basically, my brother challenged me to do a triathlon in our hometown on my 30th birthday. I am working on a 17 week training program to prepare for the race in New York, but I want to get some experience first so that's why I'm doing the Camp P race. I can email you some training info if you're interested.

PM or email me if you plan to come up, I'll give you my phone number and directions.

In my girl's vid, you can see some kids hitting in the background. It's actually my bag, and I was going to put it up high, but there were a ton of kids so I put it on one of the low platforms. Here's some pics:

http://billymack.us/gallery/album21?page=1 The two people sitting in chairs in those pics are my parents, who were in town for the weekend...

I'm considering surfing, or at least body boarding to get started. We will have to buy wetsuits for the triathlons, so that's a first step. Come on up with your gear and give me a lesson, I'll buy lunch!

Man, that looks brutal... Gotta give it to you! That's serious! I just turned 40, can't imagine putting my body thru that. My friend is doing a Super Shock Triathlon, I think that would be the best one for me to start with, then see how it goes and work up to the larger ones (Shock, then Olympic). Are you mixing the speed bag in with your training? Yeah, email me your training info - it's always good to see what others do (it's my username + @yahoo.com).

Let's shoot for sometime in the summer (I hate cold water), I'll come up and bring my board and give you a surf lesson, then you give me a lesson or two on the bag! Does Venice Beach have any waves - we could do it all on the same beach!

Ya, it's gonna be brutal, the worst part is I'm still a smoker so I plan to start the patches this weekend for my training...ugh! I will send you some training stuff. The Camp P race is just to gain experience, I have no idea what to expect!

That would be cool if we could meet up. I'm not really "in" to the whole thing, so I don't know the best spots, but right off the shore from the muscle beach is a rocky lagoon type thing that always brings in decent swells in the evenings. There are always tons of surfers out there. Bring your woman up on the weekend for some fun in the sun...
