home speed bag platform mounting? PLEZ HELP!!!!!

hey yall...im new here, so im going to buy a home speed bag platform ...and my question is....would it be a good idea to have it nailed onto my dry-wall (inside the house) or have it in my garage (nailed against bricks).

i really wanna put it in the basement with the drywall, but im not sure if my drywall will end up tearing due to the repeated speed bag impacts.

any suggestions or previous experiences will help a lot, thanks!

    (pictures will be greatly appreciated)

It won't last long drilled only into the drywall, however, if you mount it into the studs it'll be fine. See speedbagcentral.com for add'l tips on mounting a platform.

Brick works too, but you need the right kind of screws (Tapcon , etc.).
