Reccomendation on a quality wall-mounted speedbag?

I need to find a wall-mounted speedbag to buy for a birthday present.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions,
    Thanks!

Admittedly, I am a neophyte and just ordered my starting equipment. I went with the Everlast kit (board and hardware, bag, gloves, jump rope, wraps, swivel). From what I have seen, it is an often recommended set. I also ordered a few other bags and gloves to try out.

For me, it'll get me started and with a few modifications it will probably carry me through for a while. It will probably end up being used as a template for a future board.

It all boils down to what you can afford and the skill/experience level of the recipient, I think.

There is a lot of information available from the community and they can give more specific recommendations.

FJ welcome to the forum! Is the platform for you, or someone else? The most popular platform used by many here on the forum an be found HERE. It sells for $96.00. However it does not come with a speed bag.

You can find bags HERE or HERE, among other places.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

The Balazs I-box is awesome. It sells for $229, but shipping is another $30 or $40. Still, I have bought 3 for myself.

I'll throw another pitch in for Balazs. Great products, and they are enthusiastically helping us put on SPEED B.A.G. 2010.
