When did you start speed bagging, and why?

Hey everybody out there. I thought it would be interesting to find out from you all when you started speed bagging, and why? I always thought speed bagging was a cool looking, and fun excercise, but only now have gotten the opportunity to do it. I'm finding there is a ton of work, and dedication required to master the bag. Like anything it life, though, the more challenging the endeavor, the more rewarding the success. Thanks!

I always wanted a speedbag and after watching billion dollar baby(CLINT EASTWOOD MOVIE) i finally went out and bought one, i been baggin for about 2 years and love it. and of course i found this forum the SBB, speed bag central, you tube videos and skunk. The speed bag for me never gets dull and is so challenging. My favorite combo is SDP-FDP- RDP. which i taught my self from watching videos. Often times i watch videos in slow mo that really helped me alot. I have 2 setups one outside in my shed and one in a spare room. I am definitely a speed bag addict.

Alan says the speed bag bible sales got a real healthy boost when that movie came out. I think it inspired a lot of people to start baggin'.
