    Speedbag,

Thanks for the info. Yeah, after a good pull the the nozzle came out. Hopefully the replacement bladder will be made the same way. I tried to push it back in just to see how easy it snaps back in and it was so hard that I gave up. I am hoping the nozzle on the replacement bladder is more flexable or shaped differently for easier insertion.

    Anyway, thanks for your help.

Kevdawg0324/saifullah21 - Thanks for the recomendation and discount code for the super swivel. I received it on Friday and installed it yesterday. I absolutely love it. The rebound is very fast and solid. I no longer have to worry about the bag flying off anymore. I was previously using an Everlast swivel that came with the set (it was swivel 6 in the best swivel poll) and I much prefer the super swivel.

One thing to note ... the 4 screw points in the two swivels don't line up. This was not a problem for me since I just drilled 4 new holes. The screws from the super swivel are larger too. I don't plan on going back to the old swivel so it's not big deal to me but thought it might be worth mentioning.

        joec,
No problem! It's highly recommended that instead of using the screws that come with the swivel, you should use bolts that go all the way through the platform. In time, with all the vibration, the screws could work their way out. Though you might not actually see it, the swivel would not be performing its best because it's not secure.

saifullah is right about the holes. it is a good idea to drill holes for bolts. cheap insurance unless you have a maple hardwood board like myself. i used the screws and they have not even budged in 3 months. but i would not recommend using the screws on mdf. i have had them work their way out of it before.

I like that suggestion. I would imagine that I should put the bolts in upside down so that the nut is on top. Maybe even use lock washers. Does that sound right to you guys?

I think you're right. I actually use carriage bolts with lock washers and nuts and enlarged the holes in my swivel to accomodate the carriage bolts. I know the chances of hitting my fist on a bolt or nut sticking through the board near the swivel is slim to none, but it's nice having the bolts flush with the drum. Carriage bolts have a nice smooth finish and it looks a little better that way too.
