Not to sound too critical, but that is what always amazes me about this country, we have some of the best gyms and trainers, a vast number of stores sell excellent home gym equipment (including speed bags, etc), and we suffer from people young through old being out of shape and overweight. People are wonderful no matter what we look like, but my rare compassionate side just wishes they'd take better care of themselves so they could be healthier.

I was checking Realgymms website last night! now that is a class gym! my kind of place..shame its thousands of miles away the place i go has no heating, no shower, and no women thats not because they are not welcome i think they see the place and all the meat heads and it puts them off for some reason but the atmosphere and camaraderie is outstanding and one of the reasons i have been going there for over 20 years.

I had the pleasure of meeting up, and bagging with, REALGYMM today. What a great guy...solid, grounded, down-to-earth, honest, family guy. RG owns and operates REALGYMM in Keyport, NJ. Great facility in a great location.

If you get a chance, check out his web site . They do some crazy stuff as part of his cross-fit training. It not just guys, there are many girls that train just as hard. And as you can see from our picture, RG is no light-weight. I didn't take any video, so I can't post any vids of the day. RG did take some, however.

Looks like my dream gym. What a great place!

I want to take this time to publically thank him for taking time out of his day and away from his family to spend some time with me today. Just goes to show what type of person he is.

I'll thank him also for taking the time!!
