    Still deciding on a platform!!

    TITLE:

    CENTURY:

Havent heard to much on the title, but thats a great buy and I can get a few speed bags with it as well... Is it real wood? Ive heard the century is actual wood and is very stable (thanks tooslow), and Im considering it... But 49.99 on the title one is really hard to beat in these economic times for me, (family stuff)..

If anyone can assist with addiotional tools or mounting hardware I need let me know before I make the purchase. Thanks guys.

    Thanks for the help.

I decided on the title... And I got a relative who does professional installs will help me with it... Should I grab four more lag bolts? He recommends it and I've heard the mounting hardware blows...is that true? In also installing two 2x4s lined up to keep it steady with a sandbag....what do ya think?

Hey Mike, I'm not familiar with that platform, but 4 lag bolts won't cost too much. Pick them up, they'll halp to keep the supports in place. Using the 2x4s is a good idea. Good luck and keep us posted.

Yea thanks! Should I buy the mounting hardware or just buy the lag bolts? I trust title... So I doubt the board would break on me.

Hey I have the century one, it's VERY solid. Check out my thread "I'm New" and go to the last page and I had to do some adjustment because my ceiling is low but it's a great platform.

OH yeah that's pleanty of room man. 8 ft is standard ceiling height. And you're only 4" taller so you'll be fine for sure. It's a very solid platform for sure, I can tell you that much. For the price it's great.

Good price, I don't think you'll have any regrets with that purchase. You could put a full grown moose on top of that platform and it wouldn't break.
