Willing to Part with Everlast 4205 Speed Bag

Hello, I am planning to buy a new and smaller speed bag than the Everlast bag I have. It is an Everlast 4205 leather gyro balanced bag I would like to sell it if there is interest. I know they are hard to find, but I'm not sure what a fair price would be. It is terrific condition and doesn't have many miles on it. I bought it new many years ago. It does not have a bladder bag nor the swivel mount. The bladder leaked air and I want to keep the swivel unit for my next bag. I live near Berkeley, CA. If you are interested in it, let me know. Thanks -- Steve

There are people here who have said they'd like one. If they don't speak up, I will!

        Hi Steve,

I'm in San Jose. Depending on what you decide to ask for it, I could be interested, and could meet you somewhere. Sending you a PM.

I may need some tips from here, about where to find a good bladder for it.

EDIT: I know LouisvilleBagr was awfully interested, from another thread. Disregard my above, let this one go to its best home!

I can’t figure out how to send you a PM. If it’s still available and you would like to discuss selling it, please email me at jessev502@gmail.com. Thanks.

I’m not really interested in getting into a bidding war with my fellow forum members. If the members who contacted you before I did don’t work out, hit me up.

Because there is interest, I want one of you to get it. I have my own already. They are scarce and they are great bags.

It’s been on my list for a long time. I‘ve turned over countless rocks as I’m sure many other members have as well.

I got mine in 1994 from Everlast. The price was $80. According to the consumer price index inflation calculator, that is $140 in today's money. Back then you could buy as many as you like. Today they are hardly ever up for sale.

                  Grab it.

Fair is fair, if the members who got in there before me don’t work out maybe I’ll get a shot? If not, no worries, I’m sure it will go to a worthy owner who will truly appreciate it

I wonder if the large Title orange or black bladder would fill that beast? Anyone have any suggestions?

I used the Title large orange bladder in the Title "Big Blue" bag. I think it should work in the 4205. The bags are similar in size. Bladders can stretch quite a bit.

I don’t have a big blue, but I do have a bunch of the large orange Title bladders. I’m assuming those are the ones in the big blue?
