    Everlast swivel - "dangerous edition"?

    Hi Guys,
I have read about the problem of metall coming off with some sorts of swivel.
Can anyone tell me if this Everlast swivel is the one I should not buy.

That is a great swivel, Everlast stopped making those here in the states, if they still have those buy it now.

I've been using that model for 2 years now. The metal ball / hook do flake metal over time. I haven't personally found it to be a problem.

Lubricating the ball once and a while with light oil seems to control the problem. All it takes is a drop, or two.
