    My homemade platform w/Thrasher swivel

    Here is my homemade platform with Red/black Thrasher EVO13 swivel, this is the one in my garage so I used black pipe with flanges mounted to the platform to help with the vibration. This is the platform my future 4200 will go on , if I can ever find one haha

        Thanks for that , the bottom section is actually a resin epoxy coated solid wood 24x24” table top. They actually sell them for commercial type companies as singles so you can buy table tops and then get whatever style/color legs you want to go with it but for my purposes it worked out perfect. The resin is so thick it’s like having a piece of glass over it.

          Ah, makes sense. Nice find!

          I've had in storage for years an old elm-wood table that used to be in the house when I was growing up. Finally decided to cut it in half for this... partly a shame, but a fitting use for a heavy slab, and I've still got the rest for other things.
