Is there a way to mark forums read?

Go into the sub-forum and look for a link titled "Mark this channel read" (it's at the bottom) - click that - I *think* that's what you are looking for?

A global "Mark forums read" would be nice after a spam attack such as we have today. I access the site via the link to New Topics. The spammer leaves posts in multiple forums so there's a big mess which won't go away until the spam is removed. Not complaining, but it's annoying what a spambot can do.
