    Nice find, early version shortly after they changed their cataloging system. I've got one like this.

      Dutchman, would you say this is from the 50s-60s? I’m trying to learn it all. Even going back into old training photos of the greats to match lettering with era.

        The 1950's, Everlast switched the type of leather they were using to the darker brown, almost black in the 1960's. Other than the Pro line, they stuck with that until the latter part of the 1970's when the institutional line (which the 4205 was part of) was made with the red leather. The rest of the output varied back and forth between the shoe brown leather and the pebble finish red until the sale of the company.
