Very nicely done!

Good, swift elbows. also, I can see a big improvement in your hands going through the bag.

Kudos!

PS: Do you find that your platform shaking like that is a distraction?

Good luck and welcome!

The difference (as I have learned) is VIBRATION..

Right now, I have a $60 dollar Gold's wall mounted platform. Should you choose to start out with this kind of platform, don't fret, but do expect...

I grew up in Philly, but now I live north of the city near Allentown, PA.

I don't suppose you ever get out this way.. Too bad, it would be nice to meet you in person, Speedbag.

Ever hear of...

It all Depends

I really dig my 9x6 bag. If you keep your elbows up, you will tell right away that you are getting a workout.

If you have the intention to be large, I would suggest a bigger, heavier bag. If you...

Gloves

I tried some different gloves, but I didn't enjoy any of them. It's also hard for me to find the perfect heavy bag gloves.

I'm one of those people who likes to feel the impact on my hands on both...

Whew!

Thanks..
Yes, Tim, that's the Everlast Pro bag. I really like it. The swivel came with the platform, which is a Gold's Gym cheapie that I bought at Sears of all places.

Yea, it's really...

Here's My First Video

Mind you, because I am at the beginning of my journey to recapture the phisique and coordination from days long past, I'm not exactly a pro!

It is really hard to do a reverse fist roll because my...

Nice

Those elbows are nice, fast, and crisp. However, It does seem like your fist is rushing in a little bit, maybe hitting a little harder than the elbow. I do that a lot, too. For me, it's because I'm...

Yea, that is the big problem I have with it. While my hands are swiftly demanding more speed out of the bag, The length of the S hook really works against the growth of my skill.

It was a good...

The Swivel..

I am using the metal swivel that came with my platform. Thanks for telling me that they are hard to replace, Chris. I'll be sure to take good care of the one I have.

The S hook that Tim shows in...

Swivel S Hook Question

I noticed that in the video section, the smaller bags have really small S hooks to hold the bag to the swivel.

Can I buy one somewhere? I have a 6x9 bag and the S hook is HUGE, which causes a lot...

Thanks, Speedbag!

I have been working on it all day. I wouldn't say that I'm "flawless" yet, but I'm getting there.

I started using an old trick that my trainer way back when used to torment...

I love enthusiasm!

I wish I could use a big bag, but they get all sorts of dinged up because my board isn't big enough to cover the rebound. So, the bottom hits the wall brackets..

I can't wait...

I dig that..

How is it bolted to the wall?

Nice work.

My platform is a crappy $60.00 piece of junk, but I put a big weight on top of it to reduce vibration.

I just got a 6x9" bag because the bag it came...
