It's kind of hard to tell from the picture what is possible. 45 cm sounds like a pretty small space though... have you seen some of the setups that hang from the ceiling? That might be a better option?

    haha

well after much discusion with my dad he gave me information on a brick wall in my house which is solid (brick wall which is filled with concretete)

So anyway my next delima is is it possible to fit a speedbag in this area. it is basically 45 CM from the wall, so its in the corner of the wall. Its also in the garage but that doesnt matter as the cars are a fair distance away. A picture of the area is shown below:

Also I might considering building a speedbag platform so it will be custom

    So basically my questions are:

is it posible to fit a speedbag in that area, (i could use it without my arms hitting the sids i gues if i move to a slight angle)

and if its possible what size/dimensions, and yea some tips on building my own one

btw love the tree idea lol

Any trees in your yard? SpeedBagSkunk has got a platform attached to a tree in his backyard...

Any gyms near by? Can you convince a friend to hang one? Otherwise, i think you might be out of luck. Good freestanding units are not cheap...

First ,welcome to the forum! There are lots of folks here more than willing to help you out, here's my own opinion: I have freestanding speedbag /heavybag platform only because I rent and can't do too much cosmetic alteration to the condo I rent. I have a Century stand and yes it is a bit of a pain, but very useful! The biggest problem I have is the vibration which definitely affects performance. There are threads in the forum that address this. Also, I bought my stand for $150.00, now I'm seeing them much cheaper.Everlast has one at Sports Authority for $99.00.Someone also posted that you get one at Wal-Mart.com for $99.00 and have it shipped to you local Wal-mart store at cost. I would love to get a wall mounted platform as they are MUCH more sturdy and the platform is thicker. They are also more expensive. Search the forum and you will also see posts of folks who have constructed their own platforms. Good luck to you! I hope this was somewhat helpful
