I bought 2 Title speed bags...6x9 & 7x10. The small and medium one.
I started out learning on an everlast 7x10 4214 which I actually grown a custom to. The first bag I had was a bit out of round and lost psi, but I returned it and got another one and the one i've been using is great.
Then the title bags came and I realized the Title bags didn't suite me very well. They're heavier than the Everlast 4214 which creates a slow movement of the bag forcing greater effort for the bag to do what the 4214 did. Plus the leather is different from the 4214. I think the board tends to absorb the leather on the Title bag a bit more. The leather on the 4214 is like leather on a basket ball and tends to bounce off the board real good. Just in hand to hand feel for weight, even the smaller 6x9 feels heavier than the 7x10 Everlast 4214. I like the size tho. 6x9 is real comforting and easier to do tricks with. Didn't realize how much I really like this everlast bag till I compared it to something else. But let me make this clear, the Title bags are great. The construction of the bag and the leather is good quality. I have 2 Title double end bags with the same leather and has done me justice for 4 months without losing a psi for weeks. It just so happens that I'm a custom to the 4214 because that is my first bag. I want one like it but smaller. I'm not a fan of the Title bags not because of it's quality, but because of my taste and preference in style. With that said I have a question...
QUESTION
Can you guys give me some advice on a 6x9 bag to buy with leather skin like the 4214 and light weight like the 4214? Really want that bounce of the 4214 backed up with a smaller 6x9. A bag that's also shaped like the Title and 4214 bags, good side belly, real tear drop like. Any advice? I remember a thread with some bag reviews and weight.
