I found the same thing when I binned my u-bolt swivel. Takes a few hits to adjust, then you start hitting it more crisply and your rebound angles start to show your improved precision. Good stuff.

I got my SwivelTek LTX Ball Hook Swivel today.
John got it out to me quick!

Initial impression, very nice piece of equipment.
I haven't had much time to beat on it, but it seems a little harder to hit.

The Valor it replaced was a chain link and the bag tends to track the way the link pivots...where as the ball and hook has to be hit more precise to keep it from going in all directions.

This should force me to get better, I think.

FYI, the screw pattern on the LTX base plate is the same as the Valor, so no new hole needed to be drilled.
