Hello everyone I am wanting to start on a new project on building a new speed bag platform, kind of like the one floyd mayweather has for his gym. So i want to know what equipment, what type of wood do i need and procedures to build one. I plan on using Ringsides speedbag and super swivel.

I had a carpenter make me my platform out of solid maple wood. I had a machinist make me the steel frame. If you are not skilled in these areas I would search for local people to build it for you.
I am very happy with mine as it was made to a high standard and polished.
If you are skilled in these areas then you are a lucky person!
