  • missing rivet

Good evening. Two week old Leone is missing the top of two rivets. Where would you find a replacement? Could something else be used? I do like this bag.

If you have one near you, a leather craft store, saddlery, or a luggage repair shop would probably have a suitably sized Chicago rivet that would do the trick. Otherwise there's McMaster Carr.

The same thing happened to the large Leone bag that I have. The rivet popped off and I couldn't find it to re-attach. I think the speed bag company made a poor choice on their rivets. The prongs (or whatever keeps them attached) are a tad too short to stay connected to the back piece of the rivet. I haven't looked for a leather repair shop yet… so I just punch on my other (small) Leone bag (the rivets haven't loosened on it. Yet… )

Hah, I'll punch my Leone softly so as not to blow a rivet.

I l-o-v-e that bag for a change of pace, sure don't want to lose it. Hey Ralph, do you beat the crap out of yours? How's it holding up?

120 day return policy. It went back today. Sad because it was my favorite.

Once they get it and verify its damaged, they are sending a replacement. Lets see how long it takes!

The Leone replacement bag finally showed up.. I mailed it out on 6-24 and the new one came today 7-8. I guess the turn around wasnt too bad. Hope this one stays together.

                Quick fix!

O.K., don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but it came to me when both rivets broke off. I just tied the loop back on with some really strong nylon cord/string and it has now held up for over a month of hard hitting. Worked like a charm!
