It must just be the softer leather. I messed with the air. But to no change - the kangaroo I guess is just more enjoyable to hit. What other bags are made with that hide?

The NOS Ringside bags that Ralph is selling are kangaroo, which is a pretty soft and easy on the hands compared to the cowhide that most of the other brands use.

HHMMmmmm. Never thought about that but, - if they do it's the only thing I know that does.

Don't tell my wife, she might start hitting again!

( was this a set up or what.....)
If yours is like mine, she'll punch anything that dangles! So watch out!

Joe, have you tried taking a little air pressure out of it? Usually when my bags seem too hard it is because they are over-inflated. Or, perhaps you have just grown used to some other bags and the Title feels a little different to you now than it used to.

Do you put anything on your bags to condition them and keep them soft and pliable? Proper care of the leather will help the bag last for a long time.

I take some air out of it to the point its dead and then just add a little bit. So its not overfilled by any means. Or could it be that my new Ringside bag is REALLY soft (not sure if thats the way they are) and I am just feeling the difference?

I hear folks rave about these bags but I tried working on it today and it was zero fun.
Can't say I've got any good bags that went bad... maybe your perceptions have changed after hitting other bags, as you mentioned. Personally I can't stand hitting on a 10x7 bag after so much punching on 8x5, 7x4, and 6x4 bags... those bigger bags feel like slow motion. 9 x 6 is tolerable though...
