Q : how to have my wrists ?

Hi everyone, hope we are all well today and someone with some speedbag knowledge can help me. I am very new to the speed bag and cant find any information how my wrist should be. When my arm is parallel to the ground the first is 50/50 on either side of my wrist or a straight a wrist or a slightly bent wrist aiming towards the ground. I suspect the a straight wrist but i thought i should double check with people who know what they are doing i appreciate any help, thanks

depends on what your trying to do. basic rhythm id keep my wrists rigid but you may have to change that when you get into the more advanced moves...One of our senior members here (Alan Kahn aka Speedbag on our forum here) has a great website to get ya started http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ssp.php check it out. you will find it very useful.

Ditto what Kyle said. To be honest I don't think much about my wrists, just what portion of my hand I'm about to strike the bag with.
