paranday, just wanted to show you what I did to the Ringside Heritage 5" bag to give it more weight without Sacrificing speed, it feels much better, I hate bags that are to lightweight.

The stock bag has a characteristic other bags don't have, it punches well in the cold. As for you, you never stop improving on things. You should be a bag manufacturer or bag consultant.

Those pieces were added to the inside, the lower quarter or so? Looks like they're skived somewhat thicker than the factory Heritage leather?

I also don't much like small bags that are very light, I may try your idea. The one I notice is the 4200 - at least, the Olympics one I have.

It will definitely work for the 4200, I have done this to some of my bags and it has worked for every bag except one, I cut a 4 inch round piece of leather, The leather thickness is 5 to 6 oz on average and I got a square piece of leather off ebay, Yes it is considerably thicker leather, The extra weight added to the bottom of the bags gave them that more solid feel with the extra mass and didn't slow the speed of the bags down.

I use rubber contact cement and just glue it to the bladder, it gets to be tiresome to try to turn the bags inside out, Plus some bags are more of a pain than others because the laced opening is small on some bags, But it will work on your 4200, You'll like it better, I did it to my Everlast Kangaroo 4200 which is lighter than your regular 4200 and I like the bag alot more, The Kangaroo leath er is very lightweight, My bag hits way better now. Make sure you put enough contact cement on both sides and let it dry to the point where it's tacky, Then hold it pressed together until it sticks to the bladder.

Quick question on the heritage bag. I got to hit the one I got my Dad for a day and can't remember if the heritage loop was thicker than the cleto loop. My cleto small is one of the thickest loops I've come across. Want to make sure my S hooks will accommodate any bag. Thanks

I got rid of all my Cleto bags, I think the loops are very close in size but I'm not sure, There are other members on here that have both brands, maybe they can chime in.
