Beating on the new platform a bit

I haven't posted a video in a long time and figured I was due. I only had about fifteen minutes to try and get a clip worthy of posting and this is what I got. I mainly just wanted to show the new platform in action and let Ms Dee and anyone else that was curious hear how it sounds.

My God... that is one MASSIVE platform! Sounds great to me and it's just beautiful to look at.

Thanks Zaza. I actually considered making the platform out of 6" but then it would be sitting too low and I'd have to redo the blocks above it to mount the monster.

        Nice drum!

Love the thickness. I wouldn't mind trying that drum. How much does it weigh?

I didn't weigh it before mounting but I would estimate somewhere around 70 lbs.
