    Speed Bagging from Peru

Someone just posted this video on my "Speed Bag Addicts" Facebook page.

This is a speed bagger in Peru. At the end of the video this quote appears:

"Sentir antes de comprender." - Jean Cocteau

    Google Translation: "Feeling before understanding."

So, what's your feeling about this video?

He definitely has a unique style. I've never seen it done quite like that…

You're both right. If you notice he uses a lot of unique "same arm" double elbow combinations, particularly using the Inward-Double Elbow Strike (I-DES). He does something I have never seen before, coming from a Reverse single or Reverse Double Punch and using the SAME fist ( or last fist of the RDP) to follow with an Inward-Double Elbow Strike with that same arm. That is a wierd positional movement, for it would be more natural to follow a Reverse Punch with a straight punch lead (lead fist of I-DES) of the "other arm",
[kind of like a split fist RSP ' ' FSP ], but he does it beautifully using the same arm. (* see pics: note the time of each frame...). I don't remember ever seeing that particular combination before

Start at :11 or :12 and note use of Inward Elbows, particularly Inward-Double Elbow Strike (I-DES)

Also note Inwards at zoom close up at :20 - :24 sec

Also Black and white, over left shoulder at :24sec

      O-TES ' ' RSP ' ' I-DES ' O-DES..

Very nice movements and control. It all happens pretty quickly

      thanks for posting this, Dee.
