Man, I'm jealous of you BillyMack for making it on Alan's site!

I'll will champion and advertise any event that draws a legitimate crowd and promotes the speed bag in a positive light. Make it happen and speedbagcentral will support it.

If I lived by the beach, I would try to get the speed bag involved in some of the many Beachbased Drumcircles

These feature short (1 or 2 measures) rhythmic grooves that all the assembled "drummers" join, and maybe add short, personal variations - but always returning to the basic established beat. A "groove" may last up to 10 minutes or more if the crowd is into it. Some of our better baggers who are beginning to understand the bag beat, can easily do that now.
