Perhaps some of you remember the thread concerning unusual speed bag punching, speed bag history and original speed bag useage.
See it Here
Dutchman gave some great information about the history and video's of some unusual speed bag punching in a video called "unusual occupations", owned by shieldspictures.com
I recently contact them about this footage and found they have struck up a new site on youtube.com called RetroReel
I asked them specifically about gaining personal access to the information about Doris DeGreen, billed as the worlds greatest bag puncher in 1938, and purchase of her video segment for personal use or licensure on my website speedbagcentral.com. I told him about the growing interest in speed bagging and the history of the vaudeville and early punchers on film. In true affectionado form, and with great class I might add, they have agreed to post some of the doris footage on youtube in their retroreel collection.
Here is part of a communication I recently received.

You're on! I'll get Doris and her Speed Bag up and running on YouTube within the next couple of days and will pop you an e-mail when she's available and it would be great if you can link it up to as many websites and listings as possible.
The links you forwarded were great!
Cheers!

It is rare that a company with exclusive ownership of very valuable and rare video footage will so openly support such a request. I hope you will all support the RetroReel footage and post some really great comments to them and links to there sites in this and other forums. They're really doing us bag lovers a favor.
and thanks again, Dutchman, for the lead
